On December 16th, the students of DB gave their parents a Christmas concert under the hot FL sun.  The show's finale was a carol entitled "Christmas Time is Here Again" written by a parent (Tommy Girvin) and the kids and audience throughly enjoyed it.

2nd Annual BBQ Round-up!!

YEE-HAW!!  Come join us for another fun-filled family event on October 10, 2008 from 5:30-8:30.  Our delicious, down-home BBQ with all the fixin’s will once again be catered by Hungry Harry’s.  Adult meals include: your choice of a BBQ Pork or Chicken sandwich, Baked Beans & Potato Salad, Sweetened or Unsweetened Tea or Lemonade and a brownie or cookie.  The price is only $5.75 pre-sale and $6.50 the day the event. Child meals include: Hot Dog & Bun, Baked Beans & Bag of Chips, (same drink & dessert choices).  The price is only $3.75 pre-sale and $4.50 event day.  We will also be offering a vegetarian option which includes: a Veggie Sub, Baked Beans & Potato Salad, (same drink & dessert choices). Please note, Vegetarian Meals are only available on a pre-sale basis and the price is $5.75.  Food will be served from 5:30-7:30.  Bruster’s will also be on hand selling their delicious ice cream.

We are proud to announce DB Students will again be providing entertainment by singing and dancing at our BBQ Round-up.  Don’t miss your child’s chance to shine.  The line-up is as follows:  K/1 at 6pm; 2/3 at 6:15; and 4/5 at 6:30.  And put on your dancin’ boots, because we’re going to hit the dance floor with some line dancing after each performance!

There will also be lots of fun things to do!  We will have 3 bounce houses for the kids.  And 8 carnival games with a prize-every-time-you-play.   Please note: the only way to participate in any of these fun activities is by buying a wristband.  These yield unlimited access to the games and bouncers.  Wristbands are only $10.00 pre-sale and $12.00 at the event.  We will also be offering toddler wristbands for children four and under for $5.00 and they will only be available to purchase at the BBQ.
